mutilated in translation

Marc bought something in Kandi last week which had the following label (the only other language on it was Chinese). I think this is supposed to be English ... and can you guess what object it is referring to?!

I will be the first, then perhaps some others will have a guess, I expect I am wrong but is it some sort of firework or sparkler?

Good guess, but nothing quite so dangerous as that! Anyone else have any ideas?

Bizarrely enough, it was just a ruler! Not quite sure why children under three need to be supervised by their paterfamilias!

Hahaha! That made me smile a lot. It reminds me of our time in Japan - often things that were "in English" were completely incomprehensible.

Some funny translation phrases in our daily life "stuck" - one was "for your happy life" which was an advertising slogan and another that was the translation of a car handbook was "moon roof" instead of sunroof!
